Italian digital services company Flowerista is about to launch an intriguing and educational novelty: Prompt’n’Play. This innovative card game promises to break down the barriers that keep many users distant from new technologies, particularly generative AI.

According to Istat’s Citizens and ICT 2023 report, only 45 percent of the Italian population has digital skills, a figure significantly lower than the European average of 55 percent. Prompt’n’Play aims to address this disparity by offering an educational and fun tool to bring people closer to the world of AI.

"Our goal is to have a positive impact on those segments of the population that, starting from a lower level of digital skills, would not be attracted by traditional training proposals," explains Sara Malaguti, founder of Flowerista. "Prompt’n’Play is a tool that allows people to touch AI in a group and fun context, and teaches how to use it consciously."

The game is structured in three main phases: the first introduces the basic concepts of AI, the second involves prompt challenges divided into teams, and the third includes the use of special bonus/malus cards to gain advantages over opponents or get them in trouble. This approach makes Prompt’n’Play suitable for both beginners and experts.

In addition to the deck of cards, purchase of the game includes access to a GPT app, which serves as a virtual assistant to learn new techniques for creating clear and specific prompts, and a session through Zoom to clarify any doubts. In addition, players can participate in an online community to share experiences and connect with other enthusiasts.

Currently, Prompt’n’Play is not yet available for purchase, but interested parties can request to be placed on a waiting list. The price of the game is set at 69 euros, and production is scheduled for early next fall.

For more details and to join the waiting list, you can visit the official Flowerista page. Prompt’n’Play promises to be a unique opportunity to improve digital skills in a playful and engaging context.
